Expenses

Our Tradition of self-support suggests that the expenses for the group’s operation such as rent, literature, insurance, public outreach, supplies, PO box rental, Group Representative and Information Service Representative expenses be met first. Funds in excess of an ample reserve are used to help support local and area structures and the World Service Office.” (Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual 2022-2025, p.109)

Group Contributions

After each group meets its direct expenses and prudent reserve, many groups are able to donate excess funds to its Service Arms. These include the World Service Office (WSO), Southern California World Service (SCWS), the Area Information Service (AIS) Office of Greater Los Angeles; and SCAFG District 33. Group Contributions are made per meeting group conscience. The group can choose what they want to donate to each service arm.

Group treasurers should mail the contribution form along with their check or money order.  Please make sure to include Group ID No. on the check or money order so that appropriate credit is given. Click here for Contributions Form.

Reimbursement for SCAFG District 33 Related Expenses

Service Board Members as well as Alathon and Workshop Committee Members are reimbursed for expenses incurred that been approved for District 33 events and activities.  Click here for the Reimbursements Form to be used.
